The honey is harvested from local Arizona bee farms and thoughtfully packaged by individuals living with a disability. Each gift includes your personal message, a Rosh Hashanah blessing card, a 6 oz jar of pure raw Desert Bloom honey and a wooden honey dipper - all beautifully presented in an elegant organza gift bag.
Order now and your gift will be sent to the recipient in time for the High Holidays. Shipping is free if ordered before Aug 10.
You can choose to pick up your honey at the East Valley JCC after Sept. 5 or have them delivered directly to the recipient (for an additional shipping charge of $7 if ordered after Aug. 10). The program is only available to shipping addresses within the United States.
The Sweeter Together program is a collaboration between Gesher Disability Resources, Rango Honey and Gompers, with the shared goal of benefitting the disability community.
When you buy honey, you are supporting Arizona nonprofits that benefit members of the disability community. Each gift purchased results in a $6 tax-deductible donation.
If you ship your gift, you have the option to add a personalized message that will be included with your gift. If you are picking up at the EVJCC, there will be a place to write your own message at that time.
Proceeds from the EVJCC's portion of the packages will be donated to the Lone Soldier Project to benefit lone soldiers serving in the IDF.
